Five good things:

1. I've got my Remix fic halfway done! And I can finish the rest of it today, which means I can start my Big Bang fic tonight (... yes, I know), which means I can go to the movies and work on my original fic tomorrow. *rubs hands together in anticipation*

2. I bought a laser pointer for playing with the cat, and it turns out I finally bought a toy for the cat he likes. WOOHOO!

3. It's warm enough for me to wear the comfy kid's size shoes I bought.

4. I have cinnamon sweet potato chips.

5. Dead Silence is coming out this Friday. Dude, I don't even get it. I have absolutely no desire whatsoever to see 300 and yet the creepy-as-fuck evil marionette movie that's probably going to suck like a Hoover is making me go, "Man, I totally want to skip work for that." *hands in air*

In the middle of yet another conversation about my brother's girlfriend ...

Me: "Heh. Every time I talk to you anymore all you talk about is your new girlfriend."
Bryan: "Well, I like this one better than all of the other ones."
Me: "That's because she's just like you, but with boobs."
Bryan: "True, true." *pause* "Which I always ... you know what? Forget I was going to say anything."
Me: "Too late. Unfortunately my mind already went there."

I really shouldn't do this to myself.

EDIT: In related news I want to rant about something else Heroes-related, and I can't because I'm reaching incoherent levels of wanky annoyance in my head. I've taken to raging at my cat, whom I don't think really cares. *sigh*
