I made the mistake of reading this story of a college student who was walking across campus when she was assaulted by a man who dry-humped her against a telephone pole, and when she defended herself a crowd that had gathered pulled her off him and surrounded her, including one man who said, "You think that was assault?", yanked down her top and grabbed her breasts.

After a couple of tweaks because I'm a doofus who can't read, I now have all of the apocalyptothon assignments done in such a way that it's one great big loop.

Considering I usually manage to have a handful of loops going on every year, one big loop? I'm oddly impressed with myself.

Oh, and did I mention that I took the layoff for tonight? So, yeah, I'm sending out assignments tonight. \o/

Speaking of the layoff, it's becoming more apparent that the complete layoff of our entire department in June is looking unofficially official. Oh, boy. As I said to my mom, I'm having a hard enough time finding a decent job as it is without the added pressure of no money coming in. *sigh*
