More adventures in feline roommates
Jun. 19th, 2008 12:06 amSo in the last few days I've cleaned the apartment from top to bottom. All the dishes are done, all the laundry is washed, everything is picked up and straightened up ... the only thing I really have left to do is scrub the bathroom floor, which I was saving until last because of the bleach smell. Ew.
Anyway, since I've gotten the couch, I put the mattress back on the bed in the bedroom (which had only had a boxspring on it for, oh, the past three years) and put on sheets and blankets, but I still hadn't put away all of the clothes I had scattered all over the floor (which was, uh, pretty much all of them) and I was so used to sleeping in the living room I've been sleeping on the couch mostly since I got it.
But on my first day off I bought more hangers and cleaned out my drawers and put away all of my clothes, and I pushed the bed against the wall so that I'd have more floor space in the bedroom. And okay, now that it's clean in there and the bed is against the wall like I like it, I've started sleeping in the bedroom like a normal person.
The last two nights, I haven't been able to find Otis at the end of the night and he hasn't been in his usual sleeping places, like on the dryer or the top of the couch, so it's been spooking the hell out of me.
It's because he's been waiting on the bed for me when bedtime rolls around, which ... seriously, I've never seen him sleeping on that bed before. EVER.
Awwwwwww. *snuggles him*
