I went to Panera after work with the intention of trying to finish chapter two of The Hollow Girl.

Instead I made the mistake of stopping at Fandom Wank and discovered there's new Twilight wank.

Oh, Twilight wankers, never change. You suck away my free time, but damn, if you aren't amusing as hell. *reaches out and rumples their hair*

I am such a bad fan.

I have a really bad habit of spoiling myself for Project Runway Australia before I even finish watching the episode.

I put on the Spook Show Radio station (all the scary music) on AOL Radio and was just listening to it while getting ready to write. Then somebody came on reading a kids' scary story and I said, "When did Eddie Izzard do an audio book in his James Mason voice?"

No, that was actually James Mason. HA. Bwahahaha. Heh.

You know when that story came out about Clay Aiken being a dad with an older woman who was artificially inseminated? And how we all kind of sat round saying, "Okay, sure, straight guys do that all that time. Uh-huh. Totally"?

Over the past few days, the face of Mary in The Hollow Girl has changed in my brain to the girl who plays Judith on Verbotene Liebe.

What? She's cute, damn it! Look at her. *points at icon*

Yes, my girlcrush on Judith continues unabated. What of it? She's funny and friendly and lives with two hot gay guys. Clearly I should move to Fictional Dusseldorf so we can make out. Yes, this.

In other writing-related news, I started sketching out the Zeppo idea last night at work (as much as I could -- my machine ran really badly for half of the night and I had to box stuff by hand the rest of the night). I just have to find an angle that will make her story more interesting than whatever's going on with Saint Roommate of the Ginormous Sparkly Destiny (not her real name).

Also, I have to take the one story idea I had that swallowed characters from, like, three different novels I had planned and start over again from scratch. Seriously, I shouldn't even have kept it in a folder with other story files. I think it sucked in about five different characters from three different 'verses before I realized, "Uh, this might be a little cluttered." Soooo. *sighs*

Oh, and I haven't touched The Grand Prize Winner in a week. It's probably a safe bet I won't get it finished by September 1st like I was really hoping, but whatever, dudes, honestly. I started another novel and have plans for a third to start. I am not having writer's block right now, that's for damn sure.

Yummy.
