This job is turning me into a morning person.
Apparently, unlike how I used to be when I worked the night shift, nowadays I'm at my most alert and ready to write bright and early in the morning. And since I'm having a bitch of a time getting any writing done at home for some reason, I'm using this as an excuse to get back in the habit of going to the cafe, except now I'm going to start hitting them up in the early mornings rather than at eleven right when they start serving the soup.
Damn it. I'm going to miss their soup all the time. *pouts*
But, yes. I am here and I am about to start writing more on Cherry Bomb. I really should be editing and whatnot since it's due tonight, but striking while the iron is hot and all that. :)
In other news, it's day eleven of the Plague Which Never Ends, in which I hack and cough like the consumptive heroine of a Gothic romance. Actually, come to think of it, I believe the consumptive one would probably have been the sickly spinster aunt she had to go become a governess to support. That ... sadly sounds more apt than the first option. *sigh*
