-- I haven't written in three weeks. YUCK.

-- I got the timeline for Heroine Addiction done! Now I have to sit down, organize Editing Checklist #2, and start in on the second edit.

-- I have five chapters to edit in GPW to catch up to where I'm supposed to be. One is already completely edited on paper and just needs to be updated in the file. The other four are coming with me to work tomorrow, and God help me I am going to get them edited and ready to be entered into the file tomorrow if it KILLS me.

-- My current plan is to be so caught up with editing my other things that I can devote next weekend to plopping my lazy butt in front of the computer and pounding out as many words as possible.

-- The day drafts will learn to edit themselves will be one of the happiest days of my life. F'real.

We're supposed to get our first real snowfall of the year (I'm not counting the two inches or so here or there we've had up 'til now) tomorrow night and all through Wednesday. The National Weather Service is calling for upwards of seven inches. Those of you who've already been having snow, and at times have had ALL of the snow, can feel free to laugh at us puny humans.

However, on a personal level, I am once again driving my mother's car to work tomorrow, which is an aggravation I don't need to suffer through at the same time as driving-through-the-snow anxiety. That said, tomorrow evening should be quite entertaining, as it could go several ways:

-- We don't get hit, and I drive a safe and respectable speed all the way home.

-- We do get hit, and I leave the car at work to either stay over my aunt and uncle's house or my cousin and her husband's house for the night. (Since my aunt and uncle are the parents of Little Miss Confederate Princess, quite frankly I'd rather stay at my cousin's house at the moment.)

-- We do get hit, and the company gets us hotel rooms for the night at the roach motel across the street. (To be fair, it's not really a roach motel. And it has free wi-fi and I imagine it'll have a place to exercise, which is really all I need.) The only problem is, I'm not sure the hotel offer extends to temps.

I would be SO much more willing to put up with this crap if I had my own car, let me tell you.

Speaking of work, I signed up for weekend overtime for the next three weekends, otherwise known as the Schedule of Death. Time off? Oh, sorry, I owe my mother $1900. I don't get to have weekends anymore.

Not that she's demanding it tomorrow or anything, just that I don't like owing relatives incredibly large sums of money. And yes, I'm so broke that's a small fortune right there.
