Who in fandom kicked Jacob's puppy? Punched his mom? Did one of you fuckers write tentacle porn about him on the internets?

On second thought, I take all of that back. They're probably very mean things to imply about someone who, considering he gets paid to write supposedly funny (but not really) recaps of television shows but appears to have a hard-on for making fun of online fandom as though they're not his entire audience, is clearly a moron.

Seriously, Jacob's out-of-left-field attitude towards fandom lately reeks of, to quote Clerks, "This job would be great it if wasn't for the fucking customers." And I don't understand how you don't get fired for that attitude.

I should be keeping better track of what I'm adding and what I'm cutting while I edit so I have a more precise word count, but trust me, keeping track of that with GPW would just make things that much worse.

I'm supposed to be at 50k by now and at 75k by the end of March. And while I'm keeping up with my pledge to write at least a little bit of something every day this month, I'm going to have to work my ass off to even get halfway to my goal by the end of the month. *sigh*

Crystal: Still my favorite. \o/

And seriously, I know people knock on the switch-up this week, but as somebody who's never watched before this season I think this season's crowd could use it after the first week. This week it gave the girls extra time to practice and tested the guys by forcing them to get their shit together with a day less. Next week, the other way around.

Also, as much as I think Jacob's a festering spittoon, I read the girls' night recap anyway and find myself agreeing with him that somewhere in the middle of staring at Crystal with adoring hearts in my eyes, I firmly believe that she probably smells like a New Age store which is one of my FAVORITE scents in the whole wide world. (Hot Topic always smells like a cheap knockoff version of that smell, which is half of the reason I inevitably browse in there even if I'm broke. Mmmm, New Age store smell. :D)
