I get to post my Big Bang a week from tomorrow.

It's only a week away, woohoo!

(How much do I *love* that I landed the first day? I can post and get it out of the way, AND after that I can focus on reading stories rather than on the one I wrote in a week and a half that currently only two other people have read. :D)

I have nine chapters of Heroine Addiction to edit in two days. Okay, technically since I gave myself until June 1st I have three days, since that's technically until midnight on June 1st, but I really want it done and out of the way.

But I may actually make my own deadline. \o/

That was ... interesting.

My aunt came up before to try and persuade me to come to the party.

The thing is, I don't want to go to a party today. What I want is to get my damn book edited. I want to socialize, just not right now.

My cell phone just got a call, I think, from one of my cousins. I say "I think" because the message cut out all over the place so I was basically getting syllables, and I didn't recognize the phone number. But it sounded a bit like one of my cousins.

I'm still not going. I'd like to see him, too, but he knows where I live. If they're really that desperate to see me, they know damn well they can come up here. I've got seven chapters left and two days to do them in. HMPH.

Nobody makes it alive out of my favorite movies. Okay, fine, a vast majority of the people don't get out of my favorite movies alive.

Aaaand now I kinda want to watch Cloverfield.
