-- I worked overtime today but bounced early due to having one hell of a headache. I really think it's due to needing to get new glasses, because it feels like I'm getting eyestrain from staring at the computer all day long and it's only better when I take my glasses off.

-- I'm currently practicing with the onscreen keyboard on the netbook. It's hard if only because I type more by feel than by sight. I think I'm getting used to it, though.

-- The Golden Globes are tomorrow! This year's nominations are a bit goofy and questionable, but STILL. Speaking of:

Toy Story 3: Is it blasphemous for me to say it wasn't doing much for me until the last fifteen minutes or so? The scene in the lawn redeemed the rest of the movie for me, which up until that point was merely okay. Granted, okay for Pixar is still fifty times better than the best efforts by most of the rest of Hollywood, but still.

The Fighter: I'm still in the middle of this, but one thing I will say is that I normally don't like Mark Wahlberg but he's incredibly good in this. I don't think he's going to win on Sunday or on Oscar Sunday, because I'm sure he'll get a Best Actor nom for this, but he does a wonderful job. That said, I really think this is Christian Bale's Oscar-winning role. You can say that about the quality of most of his roles, but there's something about Dicky Ecklund that's a level above. Also, Melissa Leo as their mom is hilariously rough and tough.

-- I need to write this weekend. Ugh, I've only got this weekend and then school starts and that's just more of my free time sucked away.

... and how much I will buy off Adagio's website when I get it.

I've been making the mistake of bounding around the blends section checking out what's available, is what I'm saying. GUH. Sooooo many teas, so little money. I do, however, have a few I definitely intend on trying:

-- The Olive Snook, which is based on her wish in "Bad Habits" that a slice of Georgia Peach served hot with cinnamon ice cream would be forever known on the Pie Hole menu as an Olive Snook. Oh, man, that sounds SO FREAKING GOOD. I hope the tea lives up to my mental image of how it tastes.

-- Yummy Chai, but then again I'm a total chai junkie, so. *shrugs*

-- A Strawberry Kiss Tea, because I love their regular wild strawberry tea -- I'm buying a 16-oz. bag when I get the chance and the money -- but that blend sounds fantastic.

-- Blackberry Mojito. GUH.

-- Cinnamon Cream Vanilla Chai. That thing I said about being a chai junkie still stands.

-- The Libra blend, which sounds like it's just my taste and my zodiac sign to boot. (Insert eyebrow-cocking over the silly horoscope changing stuff here.)

Someone also made Sam and Dean blends, hilariously enough, with the Dean blend getting better reviews. This is the same person who made an Edward and Bella blend, which consists of snowbud, apple and vanilla. I sort of want to marry them for that combo.

There's a Steampunk Airship blend, too, but it's got coconut and Earl Grey in it, which are two tastes I've never been a big fan of, tea-wise.
