I woke up this morning to find out my cable box was dead and my cousin (who's only a week younger than my little brother) is knocked up.

Now, THAT'S a Monday.

My brother and my cousin are both 23, so it's not like it's some big tragedy or anything if either one of them had a kid. And as far as I know it was definitely unplanned, although my aunt wanted my cousin and her fiance to live together for a year before they got married and, really, what did she think was going to happen if they did that? *sigh*

Oh, my theory? She got pregnant on purpose. She and her fiance wanted to get married sooner, but her mom wanted them to live together for a year first. I imagine she didn't get the point of that anymore than anybody else in the family did, and my grandparents would have flipped, mostly on my aunt, if my cousin had a baby without being married.

Not that I think it's a bad thing, really, since my cousin's a responsible adult and I think she'd make a good mom, but STILL.
