They pay for plasma? Go for it! I kid, except when I don't. Can you get/ handle a second job? A paper route? Something with flexible hours? I once upon a time had good luck with marketing research data... you know, the folks who call your house and ask if you buy beef jerky (Of course, we were getting paid by the call despite the answer). OK; I'm out of ideas. And yes, I feel your pain (as it is mine as well...)

Well, I don't currently have a FIRST job, so. ;)

In all seriousness, the job market around here is abysmal. And I can't afford to move. And I have yet to receive a single callback for any job I've submitted for -- not that I've submitted for many, but STILL. *sigh*

The job market sucks and blows right know, I know. What about living arrangements? Could you take a tenant/ share with someone? I know it sucks hard, but if you live in a place that has extra room, or if you can share with someone... I don't know. I suck at puzzling out solutions like this. What about assistance/ Student etc. loans?

Have you tried trying to get some kind of online job? Or trying to learn a new skill that would be useful? Just try anything you can. I'm going to have to when I get home from college because I reeeally need a job.
