Oh my god. That is 100% more awesomeness than Hollywood will actually produce. (at this point I'm just hoping the Dennis Leary/Guy Gardner cameo rumor is true.)
That last bit? Is from White Noise 2, which was pretty much a movie about wanting to hug Nathan Fillion. All the damn time. And then see him make Mal vs. Starbuck postulations with Katee Sackhoff in the behind-the-scenes bit.
See the Tightpants reference in the movie itself nearly put me out of my chair with meta-geek glee.

Holy... crap. I don't even read Green Lantern or know anything save for the condensed comic book fan basics, but damn. Damn.
That is incoherently epic. Fan-casting Nathan Fillion alone made it awesome, but... wow. From fan-Thundercats to this, I think a little piece of me will always have a smidgen of hope for comic books and big screens getting it right together.

Besides, Nathan Fillion as Hal Jordan? Fuck yes please.

Date: 2009-05-25 03:06 am (UTC)Of course not: Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern is FAR TOO AWESOME for Hollywood to even consider.
But is there a Green Lantern movie at all in the making?
