Now I can't stop thinking that I should write a book about being a 31-year-old virgin who's NOT all, "God told me at my father/daughter purity ball that I have to stay chaste until I'm maaaaaaarried."

I do want to mention the entire concept of being "late" to have sex is silly to begin with. It's not an essential biological function in any way and on our overpopulated earth the idea of "coming late to the game" in terms of coitus is almost ridiculous. I'm not saying YOU'RE ridiculous for using the word "late," rather, that the idea exists in our society is just silly.

ETA: As a homosexual I've had people argue (online here and there) that I'm "Hurting the specieeez!!!! omg!!!!" by declining to have heterosexual sex. I'm like "Uh, really? Last I checked the species was devouring the planet."
