Is it really bad that I'm constantly refreshing a Britain's Got Talent liveblog in another tab? I think it might be.

FUCK YEAH DIVERSITY BITCHES! WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOO!

sorry, susan!

EDIT: It's worth watching the moment they win for their reaction, since they obviously had no clue they'd win. Aw, the wee bespectacled one with the awesome hair is just stunned.

I seriously could not be happier that they won, I actually saw them in my local shopping centre performing a while back and they're startlingly amazing live. YAAAAAAAAAAY!

I love them to pieces. They just seem like they're having a blast when they're up there. :D

Is it also wrong that a bit of me is just happy it wasn't susan?

If it's wrong, then I'm in trouble as well. I mean, she seems sweet, and God knows the media has hounded her enough, but ... no.

precisely, besides, how many opportunities are there for a large group of modern dancers to make the big time when you think about it? She's going to get a part in a musical/record deal/a night with ashton/demi anyway and winning for those guys is going to change their lives.

YES! They were my pick too, they're so creative and energetic - yes, Susan has a nice voice, but she sings the standards.

that and Diversity had me in hysterics with the visual gags they throw into their choreography! WOOHOO

Well, while I didn't have the Susan-hate that you did (nor the fannishness for BGT, for that matter) I can see how it's better for Diversity to have won, anyway. Let's face it -- Susan will likely get an opportunity at some point to sing for the royal family ANYWAY, and she certainly will get some sort of record deal, etc., etc. There's not as many opportunities for dance teams.

Weeellll, I didn't have Susan-hate so much as Susan-exhaustion. I was fine with her in the beginning and then everything just went to hell.

And ... yeah, exactly. They needed the chance. After all that she's gone through, she doesn't need the show to help her at this point.

I rooted for the ones I'd pay to see perform for ninety minutes? Diversity won that hands down.

Besides, someone is gonna pick up Susan for a record deal anyway. Or some sort of musical theater.

My roommayes and I were cheering them on all night (and spent 20 minutes trying to get through to vote for them!) and when they won we brought the house down. The thing is, Suan is going to get that record deal now, no matter what. These guys needed this more. Did you see their reaction when they announced the final three acts (going from 10 to 3 acts)? the expressions on their faces were just priceless - i thought they were going to fall off the steps!

YAY ACTUAL TALENT!!!! Aw I'm so happy for those guys! The little kids!!! So precious omg.

Sorry, Susan, but lots of people can sing. *is a terrible person*

Am I the only one annoyed that the announcer dude is like "The winner is - DIVERSITY! Now let's all pay attention to Susan and ignore those guys over there." *facepalm*

Those kids were freaking ADORABLE. The one with the hair and the glasses? I love him SO MUCH.

They do that every season, though. Give the second-place winner a minute or two and then escort them off-stage to devote the rest of the time to the winner. Did it last year with Signature and George Sampson -- George really needed a moment to calm down anyway. ;)
