So the kitten has departed, much to Otis's relief. Jess found someone who wants him, so she came and picked him up. So now I can stop focusing on finding him someplace to live that's not my spare bedroom, which I've spent the entire day trying to remedy.

I'm watching Earth 2100 on ABC. And I just realized that I was missing I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant. I really need Tivo for times like this, I swear.

They really managed to hit all the apocalpyse cliches in this, huh? Peak Oil, drought, famine, flood, and plague.

Oh, yeah. I was so happy when they finally committed to the plague, too -- that one's always my favorite, outside of zombies. ;)
