Status of the writer

I still haven't even started my stori_telling and apocalyptothon stories, for the record.

I'm doing ... okay on Heroine Addiction. I'm getting words written, and I do have it plotted out down to the chapter, which is a BIG step for me. I think I'm just stressing out about still not having a job and it's wearing on me. I just get really scared that I'm going to run out of unemployment and get kicked out of my apartment and then, that's it, I completely blank and need a nap and just wish I could take a vacation and get the hell out of town for a day or two. I also know what always happens to me when I hit the halfway mark and it's freaking me out that oh, no, maybe I'll do it again, and then I want a break. Blah.

I'm probably going to take out The Grand Prize Winner again once I hit 50k on HA and see what I can do to fix it. It needs more focus and I just have to figure out how to get that. It's mostly a matter of going at anything I hate with a red pen and hoping that the whole thing doesn't come out of it looking like a murder scene.

As for my next story, I've already made that list of stuff I like to read about and write about to work from. I've been pondering an old-fashioned fantasy-type quest in the modern world, but I'm not exactly sure if it's going to go anywhere. I do know that I want another female lead or two, it's just a matter of deciding what I like in a female character just the same as I did with the list of things I just generally like to read about.

So basically, business as usual, nothing to see here, blah blah blah.

*sigh*

Hey, let's do this. What would you make me write?

Surely, by now, you have a completed manuscript somewhere, right? I think you should totally start submitting stuff to agents. You can so do this.:)

Look at this! I miss so much when I can't check every day. I so didn't know this had happened. Maybe it'll help with the unemployment situation.:)
