I have three more payments of unemployment left before the extension kicks in. Ugh. I just want a job already, damn it. If for no other reason at this particular moment than that this is very pretty and being responsible means no touching.

Oh, speaking of jobs I don't really have and aren't getting paid for anyway ...

Current status of the writer:

The Grand Prize Winner -- First draft done. Needs a bit of a ginormous overhaul in the second draft. Am still in cringing-and-running-away-when-I-see-it stage. Le sigh.

Heroine Addiction -- Halfway done. Just need to push through and finish stuff. May start resorting to skipping around and writing stuff out of order as per usual.

Chapter And Curse -- New story. Not started, but definitely writing it. Have a set-up and main characters, just need a plot. Want to get a chapter or two written this week, just as soon as I flesh it out a bit more.

I need to go eat and write something now. Oh, and I should probably go mail my rent and insurance checks. Bye, money! It was good knowing you while it lasted.

Crap. I went browsing at that site and found a couple of dresses I like the looks of that might actually look reasonable with my body type -- but I can't find any sizing info to give me a clue if their "large" is remotely near what I actually wear.
