... I've been going through the Twilight Zone episodes airing today looking for the classics.

2 pm EST: The one where Billy Mumy wishes people into the cornfield
3 pm: The one where the Earth's moving closer to the sun
4:30 pm: The one with the hitchhiker
5 pm: The one where the dying millionaire makes his heirs wear masks
6:30 pm: "My name is Chatty Cathy, and I don't think I like you."
8:30 pm: My absolute favorite, "Time Enough At Last."
9 pm: The "ugly" woman who just had surgery to fix her face.
9:30 pm: The one where people think their neighbors are aliens.
10 pm: "To Serve Man"
10:30 pm: The one where William Shatner sees a gremlin on the wing of the plane.

Apparently they're hitting a lot of the classics tonight. :)

Time Enough At Last is KICK ASS. We watched several Twilight Zone, including TEAL, in my screenwriting class last year and... yeah. It's great. :)

It suddenly occurs to me that the one about the "ugly" woman makes no sense. You'd think they'd have a pretty good idea before they put the bandages on her whether they'd successfully given her a snout.

Well, we have to remember FX weren't as good then.

Psst, not "chatty cathy" "Talky Tina" (probably a copyright thing)

Did they show the one with the world-running machine yet?

Heh. I always seem to miss the Talking Tina one, so I'm not surprised I messed that one up. :)

I don't think so. I know they only started running the older episodes yesterday at about noon, and they've already done "Number 8 Looks Just Like You" (I think that's the title), the one where the mannequin comes back to the department store, and the one with the camera that tells the future.

"Time Enough..." is the one with the elderly pitch-man, isn't it.

I won't say more about it in case someone here hasn't seen it, but I will say SHIT, SON, THAT EPISODE MAKES ME FUCKING WEEP.

EDIT: Also, this is the time of year at which I most regret not having cable. Seriously. I <3 the TZ marathon.

"Time Enough..." is the one where Burgess Meredith plays the bookworm with ONLY ONE pair of glasses. I think you mean "One for the Angels," which always makes me sniffle at the end. ("Up there?")

Yep, that's the one. Thanks! I'm gonna track them down online, I think.

IIRC, CBS has most if not all of the episodes on their website. :)

I got pulled away from To Serve Man and the William Shatner one.

Because there was a patient actively dying. Anything less than that, and I may not have left the resident lounge.
