Random stuff

-- In the past few days, I've gotten, "Oh, did you get a haircut?" three or four times, and then had to explain to people, no, actually my hair's grown a couple of inches, I've just stopped clipping it out of my face for now because for the moment it looks better that way. And I keep trimming the back myself because I can't afford a haircut right now. It's just going to have to wait until I can afford it and my hair's long enough for a bob again.

-- Speaking of things I can't afford, I need a new swimsuit -- I believe mine is something like five years old and the bottoms fit but the tankini top is a small, so ... -- and I like this one, so of course I'm too broke to even throw twenty bucks that way. Urgh. *stares at phone and waits for jobs to call back*

-- I haven't checked in on apocalyptothon in ages, and first drafts are due on Saturday. When I'll be in Boston. I should probably do something about that. Oh, did I mention I still haven't written mine yet? Le sigh.
