The most depressing thing about the laptop being busted?

I downloaded the entire first season of Leverage onto the computer. Now, I can get the computer to run, but I can't get it to put the episodes onto my MP3 player or onto CDs. Which sucks, because I've got a car ride to Massachusetts to look forward to tomorrow and I get bored in the car easily, so if I want them, I'm going to have to download them all over again onto the netbook.

I've just been introduced to Leverage and I love it.


Do you have a wireless network? If so, you could share the appropriate folders on both machines and move them that way.

If your USP ports and disk burner aren't working, the only other alternative would be to e-mail them and they are probably too big. If you can parse them into 9.5MB chunks; most e-mail will let them go through.

Oh, yeah, I forgot to mention -- the wireless won't work, either. The fact that I can't still turn the laptop on is currently the most hilarious thing going, because everything else is just completely busted. Somehow I managed to get one of the text files transferred onto my flash drive through one of the USB ports, but that's the only thing the USB ports have decided to register and it's only 32MB.

And I've got family up there and my parents are going up to visit, so I'm tagging along. :)

The only other thing I can think of is to pull the hard drive and put it in another machine as a secondary drive.

Well...it's coming out on DVD on Tuesday. And the new season starts the day after, I believe.
