Breaking news, very sad. And the timing is interesting - his commentary on the moon landing, and the landing itself, are among my earliest memories. It celebrates its 40th anniversary as he passes.

They were showing footage of him during the lunar landing, and he was just awed and gleeful about the whole thing. It was almost adorable.
