apocalypsos1.5 = Number of chapters of The Grand Prize Winner I got edited today.
2.5 = Number of chapters I could have edited if I hadn't taken time out of my busy schedule to hit 1 million points playing Typer Shark.
2000 = Numbers of words I added during the editing process, give or take. Woohoo!
1 = Number of chapters I deleted from Dead Men In Dark Suits today.
4 = Number of chapters I suspect I'll also have to throw out but don't want to just yet because finishing this sucker is already intimidating enough as is.
10 = Approximate number of times I whined, "But I don't waaaaaannaaaaa edit," today like an overgrown toddler.
9 = Number of books in the Books of Boggs series that I have yet to finish and could be working on but just being reminded of their existence when I've got so many other books on my plate makes me wibble.
45000 = Number of words I need to write on Heroine Addiction to crack 100k.
300 = About how many I've written in the past two weeks.
10000 = The number of words at which I cannot see myself simply abandoning a project.
10536 = The number of words I have for The Hollow Girl, which seems to have convinced my brain that while I may not have written another chapter lately, or since last year at about this time, I will eventually finish. Theoretically. *headdesk*
67000 = The approximate difference in number of words completed between The Hollow Girl (my simple straight-forward first-person past-tense anti-Twilight) and Moonlight Hall (my multiple-POV present-tense monsters-and-things-go-to-college crackstravaganza that's been sitting in an abandoned file for years)
0 = The number of WIPs I'm working on that are something other than urban fantasy. (Not counting the Regency fantasy which I really can't do anything with without a writer's guide on the period.)
5 = Number of times in my current WIPs I've physically based a character on Jared, Jensen or JDM.
Incredibly = How pathetic that is.

Date: 2009-07-26 02:54 am (UTC)I had to bribe myself with a viewing of Coraline if I wrote 1000 words today. I managed just shy of 1500, but I kept refreshing LJ, FB, and Twitter every 2 minutes and going, "But I don't wanna." Clearly, there is a key... we just have to find it. (*tears hair out*)
