These are a few of my favorite things ...

-- I cannot WAIT to see Lucifer. I love that they're going the heartbroken route, because YES. Yes, he's heartbroken! He wanted to go out on his own, and God wanted him to stay home and join the family business, and they had a big fight and then Lucifer stomped off to Stan-- oh, wait, wrong relationship on this show, never mind. :D

-- JO! ELLEN! MEG! JESSICA! RUFUS! \o/

-- Okay, I'm sorry, but the way they describe Sam and Dean's relationship this season makes it sound like they're DATING. I mean, seriously. Maybe it's just me, BUT. Heeeeee.

-- I hope Chuck's not just in the pilot. I'll be glad to even just have him for that little bit of time, but I love the scruffy idiot, so I'm thrilled for every scene he gets to be in.

-- The Croatoan virus is getting tied up! Sweeeeet.

-- I just ... I know people have problems with the spoilers that have been coming out, but I miss the show, and I miss the boys, and I'm so happy that this season is going to be like this great big family reunion of bad guys and good guys and Sam and Dean practically dating and honestly, the only thing that might make me giddier right now is if they brought back Missouri, too, while they were at it.

I AM GIDDY WITH EXCITEMENT. And yes to Lucifer and his daddy issues. And Mark P is such awesome casting. Interesting that Kripke wanted him from the start.

Also - optimistic apocalypse!

And yes "the epic love story of Sam and Dean" never been truer.

I ahve to say I admire that, given they obviously are well aware of fan reactions, that despite the Ruby hate they stayed their course with ehr story line.

Have to say the audience questions at the panel were nerarly all v. good and thinky. Dare I say that not having Jared and Jensen there meant there was more focus on the writers, which i loved!

And yes, Chuck is in more than just the Pilot. However seeing he's Kripke's avatar I am sure he will have a horrioble and messy end.

Is it wrong that for all that Kripke can make unbelievably cringeworthy mistakes at times, the only two things I feel right now about him are glee with everything that I'm hearing about season five and gratitude that he seems to like us more than RTD likes his fanbase?

I can't imagine how it must be for a writer to have to deal with the intense criticism these guys get. And so RTD deals with it by being a pompous git and shunning the fans. Kripke I think, is prob more critical of himself than we are - maybe that means he takes the criticsm differently. Also - Kripke himself has a fanboy's sensibilities.

I do get the feeling that the writers are having a wonderful time!

BTW, on the drive back from Comic Con, one of my passengers read us "I taught your boyfriend that thing you like" and I swear, I nearly lost control of the car a few times, I was laughing so hard. Where can I find it? MUST RE-READ!
