-- I didn't get my PIN number from unemployment today. This just sucks on toast, let me tell you. And if I get my netbook back before I get my PIN number, I'm going to freak.

-- I am getting far more upset about my writing lately than I'm really comfortable with. I really wish I were in a position creatively at the moment where I didn't feel so much like a pathetic failure.

-- I got a copy of Flash Forward to watch while I'm at work tonight. Here's hoping that it sparks with me, because I'm running out of new shows I want to see at all.

Regarding point #4 -- would it help to step away from writing for just a little while and try something else creative? I know when I'm unemployed and all I have is time and I think I'm going to write because hey, it's free, I can't get a damn thing done because I get so wrapped up and neurotic and invested in it that I paralyze myself.

Like... okay, I feel like a tool saying this, but I just got back into paper mache, and it's pretty much the cheapest thing ever, because it's literally flour, old newspapers and junk, and it's messy and gets you out of your head and you don't have to be a genius by any stretch of the imagination, and when you're done you have something concrete at the end of the day.

Whatever you wind up doing, all best from me -- seriously, I am cheering you on, lady.
