*snickers* Yes, it's my first time. I've been meaning to sit down and watch both and I don't like sitting down to watch series or miniseries unless I have the whole thing, so getting them from Netflix was right out. And I, er, don't have the special features disc. *shifty eyes*

Four words: Ron Livingston's video diaries. The most amazing special feature known to man. This is just a small sample. (Also, it features a documentary about the war as told by the vets. It's utterly unbelievable. Just. I'll start sputtering if I go on.) (Both of them are lurking around on YouTube, if you can't find the other disc.)

I so hear you on the completeness thing -- you may find yourself wanting to marathon. (I've only ever made it through eight at a time before being totally overwhelmed and devestated. Somehow I keep winding up trying, though!)
