But I've already got one nag to deal with! *whimper*

She persuaded me to do a collage-type thingy for DMIDS. I'm far too tempted to give Jack Jude Law's body, Orlando Bloom's face, and Drew Fuller's pretty, pretty eyes for the rewrite.

A rec :

http://cattails.homestead.com/

A quote:

An acceptable level of unemployment means that the government economist to whom it is acceptable still has a job

Caution--I was not hired for my disposition

Come on, people--I can only do six things at once, and one of them HAS to be breathing

Here at First National, you're not just a number--you're two numbers, a dash, three more numbers, another dash, and another number

An amusing link:

A complaint:

Any reason you rarely respond to my comments?

Now if Mattel is breaking up Ken and Barbie and they're going to remain just friends...and then there is a new man on the horizon does this give Barbie's friends free reign to start dating the Kenster?

And why would Mattel only have Ken and a baby as the males but Barbie has like fifty friends? Is this a way of saying, "hey I'm adorable and have the men, you must all be my envious but loyal girlfriends and pine away in your size sixes?"

Bah bring on the men! Whore Barbie! Barbie's wild orgy! Lesbian Barbie! And wait! *gasp* now all the Barbie's and Ken's that had babies not only have broken homes but the children are illegitimate. *watches childhood burst into flame*

Course this would be more traumatic if I'd actually played with Barbie as a child. *shrugs*

I'm bored to.

From: [identity profile] paradisacorbasi.livejournal.com
No, the children aren't illegitimate. They're just going to be in new blended families when Ken finds himself a new girlfriend.

Or more than likely, when Barbie gets with her new Australian hottieboy, since Barbie's the one with eight thousand high-paying careers, and Ken's just the plastic tagalong.

you are correct, now there are however amultatude of single family homes, at least untill barbie hooks up with her same sex lover and then we have to explain to little ken jr. why he has two mommies.

and if memory serves there have been other bois, just none with the, *ah-hem* staying power of ken.

it's a conspiracy...a c-o-n...-spiracy...

maybe ken is actually the mastermind of a polyigamy cult and barbie is just the recruiter and breadwinner for ken's illicit herem? maybe she just has the outfits for use on "the set"?

illagitimate pr0nz childs?

I used to have Donnie and Marie Barbies. Donnie was quite the player, given that I thought Ken looked too schmarmy, even as a child. I just didn't like his hair. Now Donnie? He was cool and he had sparkly clothes too.

Hell, the whole thing with pregnant doll Margie traumatized me.

Notice how Barbie always takes care of her 'little sister'? Where the hell are Barbie's parents? Why is she stuck with babysitting duties all the time?

I bet Barbie's parents are sleeping off a good drunk upstairs in the guest room of the Mattel Malibu Dream House. And Barbie has to change diapers and make a bottle because no one else will and Dad will start screaming again

Ten bucks says Barbie's little sister is really the bastard child she had after an underage love affair with the photographer at one of her modeling shoots and her parents felt obligated to adopt her and just lie to the poor kid, making her think her own mother is her sister.

It doesn't mean it'll totally screw her up, though. I mean, Jack Nicholson turned out just fine, didn't ...

Uh, never mind,

Here, I copied this from IMDb ... Abandoned by his father in his childhood, he was raised believing his grandmother was his mother and his mother was his older sister. The truth was revealed to him years later when a Time magazine researcher uncovered the truth while preparing a story on the star.

Bobby Darin had the same thing happen to him, to, as I understand it.

I am actually a superintelligent mutant from the universe next door. The "This Day in Trinity Universe History"/"Today in the Trinity Universe" posts in my journal represent the reality from which I came; the others are the fictional ones.

Or maybe I just wish that were the way it was.
