Well, I haven't written in a week, if that counts.
*sigh*
Okay, so here goes. Right now, I have four things I'm trying to concern myself with.
1. The Grand Prize Winner, which needs to be edited within an inch of its life.
2. Heroine Addiction, which is at that point in novel-writing when you're just past the halfway point and somehow the finish line seems even farther away than ever and you kinda want to die.
3. Gilded, my NaNo project that needs a boatload of worldbuilding.
4. Another story tentatively titled Gone To Ground that's got ... um, a teaser trailer. That's about it.
Oh, oh, and I had an idea for an actual fic. Dude, I KNOW. I have no idea if I'm actually going to write it because I can already sense it would be a loooong story, but it's Wincest and it may be a bit more meta than I probably should be writing when I can't seem to write anything else, but hey, a story idea!
... yeah, because it's getting the ideas that's my problem. *sigh*
But ... whatever. Heroine Addiction would be the easiest to finish at this point, just because I really am close to the end, God knows. The Grand Prize Winner just needs editing. Okay, admittedly, a lot of editing. Gilded, I just need to work out the details for and possibly come up with a bare-bones outline for, since it'll save me a lot of time come November. And Gone To Ground can wait, really.
The thing is, it's not asking too much of myself to expect to have most if not all of Heroine Addiction finished by the time NaNo has to start. Even if I have to save the worldbuilding on Gilded until November first and focus on getting that one little thing done, if you can consider a good thirty thousand words or so in two weeks a little thing, it's something, you know?
I think I'm just sick and tired of simply having one manuscript finished and edited, and it seemed like such a huge accomplishment when I finished The Monsters of Moosic and got it all cleaned up and edited and whatnot that now that I've got another one in need of editing and yet another one just needing to be finished, I'm sorta frying my brain.
BLARGH. You know what I think I'm going to buy tomorrow? A six-pack of Smirnoff. I feel like I'm going to need it.
*sigh*
