Whaaaat? (Part two)

I got this from the TWoP spoiler board, which got it from usmagazine.com:

"[Noelle] Marsh, an 18-year-old contemporary dancer, will be given one week to try and recuperate, according to the network's standards and practices laws. The source tells Us that production crews will prep the female dancer who gets eliminated this week to go on in her place should she not be able to recover."

So basically, if she does recuperate, she gets a free pass to the top 18. I like her, but that's so unfair to the girl who gets eliminated tonight, now I kinda hope she doesn't.

Seriously, she must have injured herself really late in the practice if they didn't have time to bring back an alternate and Russell's going to dance with Melanie LaPatin instead. (It did give me \o/ arms over Russell, though. If his cha-cha with Iveta is any indication, a good partner helps him shine even more than he usually does.)

I have no idea why I've been reading People of Wal-Mart when I'm mostly making mental tallies of just how classist, sizeist, and sexist the vast majority of these entries are. Ugh. Even Stuff Christian Culture Likes isn't this bad.

I love Melanie when I first saw her as the guest on What Not to Wear a few years ago so I was ecstatic when I saw her on SYTYCD!! I can't wait to see them dance together :D

I keep looking at PoWM, too... mainly because I don't know who else is collecting pics of cars covered in troll dolls or Dr. Pepper logos.

"There, I Fixed It" is another guilty pleasure, because there's a fine line between crap-repair-jobs-borne-of-necessity pics and the ones that are just bad ideas, all over.

Part of me hopes she doesn't come back because as adorable as she is with Mollee, I'm crossing my fingers that Amber is the alternate. Amber was fantastic, and it was obvious from their reaction when she was cut that the rest of the dancers thought it was a crime she wasn't in the top twenty.

Aw, poor Billy. Here's hoping they will let him come back. He's a wonderful dancer.

I've seen a few of those pics. I don't think it's more size-ist as 'Wear more clothes, for goodness sakes!'. A problem I have seen re: people of all sizes.
