I had to run the check from the jewelry sale last night to my mom just now, and I told her about going to see 2012 last night.

Mom: "Oh, I wish I could go see that."
Me: "Why not?"
Mom: "Well, your father won't go, and you've already seen it."
Me: "You say that like it would stop me from going to see it again."
Mom: "... good point."

Also, I was talking about the Precious trailer with her co-worker in the same office, and explaining how emotional I get when I watch it and telling her co-worker what it's about, and then I said, "Every time I watch it, it makes me want to ... well, it makes me want to do this," and I ran over to my mom's desk and gave her a big hug.

Needless to say, she was thrilled. :D
