I am of the firm belief that Heidi Klum and Seal make the most adorable babies in Hollywood, and the new baby is no exception.

URGH. You know what sucks? If it weren't for the holidays, my present to myself for finishing Heroine Addiction would be to buy myself a newer, better MP3 player than the one I still can't find.

Except I can't, because:

1. I still have to buy Christmas presents, which I won't be able to afford otherwise.
2. My parents know I lost my MP3 player, so it's entirely possible they could get me a new one for Christmas, which is one of the reasons I try to avoid buying new electronics in December.

I mean, I doubt it -- my mom's been making cracks that she's not spending a bunch on my brother and me this Christmas and she already paid off my car for me for my birthday, which ... not going to lie, is MORE than enough for her not to buy me anything at ALL for Christmas. Seriously, considering the state of my finances right now, I'm terrified this is going to be another Christmas where they buy me some expensive piece of electronics and I can only spend seventy-five bucks on the both of them, much less one of them.

Which kinda sucks, because my dad brought up the Kindle in the car the other day and I verbally flailed over e-readers in general at the two of them and I think I would die a happy death if I was opening presents on Christmas morning and that was one of them.

I had to take a nap because I felt like utter shite and that's two hours I could have been writing. FML.

Today's deal on Woot.com is a cheap MP3 player. I don't know how your budget is right now, but they have MP3 players come up with reasonable frequency.

Sansa players on Amazon.com are reasonably cheap, too, and are part of the rare "regular battery" family of players. Not being from Apple tends to cut the price down quite a bit.
