I have decided to blame the cat for the fact that I'm not done with Heroine Addiction yet.

And when I say that, what I mean is that I had to go to bed because of work, but I planned to get up a half an hour early figuring that that would be plenty of time to finish what I've got before work. Aaaaaand then, about five minutes after I curled up under the blanket on the couch, I smelled something awful, and it turned out that not only does the cat have diarrhea (EW), he had it in the spare room. (EW EW EW.)

Which meant I had to get up and clean it up, and then lie on the couch unable to sleep for a good forty-five minutes worrying and frustrated, and I ended up hitting the snooze alarm anyway even though I didn't want to, and now I'm maybe three hundred words away from finishing and it'll just have to wait until tonight.

ARRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHH.

... oh, and I also have to call my mom sometime today to tell her that he needs to go to the vet. Ugh.

You could get a book published about how your pets hold you back from your dreams of publication. That's so gross and made of suck.

I blame my cats for everything. They're convenient, and don't care. :)
