It simply being urban fantasy will pull me right the hell in. It could be cheesy and stupid and if it's got wizards and vampires and monsters I'll give it a shot.

I also love a good canon gay or lesbian pairing. Slash is one thing, but I like it when they're already in the story and they're fumbling around being all cute and angsty and whatnot.

I like a woman who can kick a little ass, and who doesn't complain about running in heels.

And I like stuff with some wit, with a thread of humor, fandoms that are able to make fun of themselves.

Some combination of all of those will make me flail like a muppet. :D

Buffy/Angel, Buffy/Spike, or Buffy/Angel/Spike?

Um ... none.

To be fair, I never really liked Angel with Buffy, either as friends or lovers. If they'd never have connected the characters, I probably would have liked him a lot better.

And I liked Buffy/Spike until they actually, you know, did it. Before they did it in canon, I could have bought it. Aaaaand then made it ridiculously dysfunctional which ... well, yeah, of course it's going to be dysfunctional but that was fucked UP.

Plus, Buffy was my least favorite character on the whole show. Which is odd, considering, but after a while I was watching for everybody else and kinda hated Buffy like WHOA.
