apocalypsosARGH. Let me make a few things clear. (Though obviously, not to anyone on this friends list. I'm just ventin'.)
THING ONE: I do not like going out Friday nights. After a week of admittedly tiring work, I'd much rather go home and veg the hell out for just one night. I'm good for Sundays and Saturdays, but Fridays ... eh, no thanks.
THING TWO: If I say no, I mean no. "No" does not mean "If five million people ask me over and over again, I'll say yes." It especially doesn't mean I'll say yes if the pleading is interspersed with implications I'm pathetic for saying no. Shut it, or lose footing in my book.
THING THREE: Amazingly enough, going drinking with people who apparently go drinking three or four times a week, mostly on weekdays, is not my idea of a good time.
THING FOUR: Neither is going drinking with anyone I've heard use racial slurs in casual conversation.
Grrrrrrrr ...
Oh, and guess what? My Peeps are stale, my Peeps are stale! *user bounces happily around the room* They're incredibly stale compared to what they were yesterday. I think they've reached a level on the Mohs Hardness Scale somewhere between Dubble Bubble gum and diamonds.
