... did I just see Peter Wingfield in a Human Target commercial?

They're going to make me watch it tomorrow, aren't they? *sigh*

(It's weird -- I like Jackie Earle Haley, Chi McBride, and Mark Valley, and have absolutely no desire whatsoever to watch. But now Fox commercials and IMDb are telling me Peter Wingfield's going to be on there, so now I have to watch.)

It really is a good show.

Why don't you want to watch it if you like all three stars?

They just added a geek hackinatrix to the team.

It's just ... nothing about the plot appeals to me at all. It's like Dollhouse. It's got Eliza Dushku and Joss and Alan Tudyk. I should want to watch it, and YET.

Plus, watching Chi McBride just reminds me that if ABC weren't run by asshats, I'd be watching Pushing Daisies tomorrow night instead.

Oh yeah, Wingfield's in the next episode.

It's a big stupid action series, and I love it as much as I love the sci fi channel movies with names like Sharktopus.

It is a good guilty pleasure. I didn't expect to like it, but I do.

Yes, there is indeed Peter Wingfield. I meant to give the shout out last week, and then totally spaced on it.

That said, it's a decent, fun show. Of course, since I'm using Wingfield as leverage to get people to watch, that almost guarantees his episode is gonna suck...

Yes, that was Methos.

I thought that was Methos!

Human Target is a really fun show. Don't think too hard about the main plot --- it's mostly there to give Mark Valley's character an excuse to hit things cinematically --- but the character banter is quality and Jackie Earle Haley steals every scene he's in.

And the show has the geekiest casting director I've ever seen. So far Gaeta from BSG, Simon from Firefly, Madison and Ellen from SPN and now Methos have all shown up as guest stars.:)

Peter?

*facepalm*

I think we're in the same boat on this one. I'd pretty much forgotten about that series, but Peter? Yeah, I'm there.

He's been in a few episodes of Caprica so far. I've given up on that show, though. For a show with giant killer robots, it's really boring.

Dood, thanks for the heads up. I have no interest in the show, but for Meefie, well, that's a different kettle of fish. :D

It's a deeply fun show. Another good reason to watch: All of the guest stars are from other skiffy shows. Also, it has a lot of explosions.

Yeah... I tried a couple times to watch it, and never quite got into it until I, like, made the conscious decision to watch only for JEH's character. And now I'm hooked. Because he is that good.

Also, PORNSTACHE.

I'm completely with you on this one: I *want* to like it, I love several of the actors on it, but I've watched it a few times and it just doesn't click with me. Thanks for the head's up on Wingfield though, I'll definitely be watching it for him!

What I wouldn't give for a DVD set of Keen Eddie (with the original music, not the one Paramount's selling.)

MEEEEETHOS!

CANDYGRAM!

*cough* Er, okay, I'll tone it down a bit, but that's how I met you way back it seems in the previous century, in our mutual tongue-dragging admiration society regarding All Things Highlander And Especially Methos.

*saucy grin* :D
