I know I didn't talk about AI last night, but I did want to say this because [livejournal.com profile] strippedpink reminded me -- Crystal's performance was not my favorite of the night. Very close second, though. She's always phenomenal, but my favorite was Lee DeWyze, because he was also phenomenal. He was doing what contestants should be doing during a talent competition -- getting better as the series progresses -- and there isn't a lot of that happening this season.

Here's hoping he keeps it up.

My only other thoughts from last night were, "Oh, Siobhan," and that I know the contestants supposedly dress themselves for their performances, but I really wanted to tell Aaron Kelly that the theme of your performance outfit should never be, "Mom, have you seen my black windbreaker? I want to run down to the Turkey Hill for a Code Red and it's drizzling out."

Also, I am wearing a pair of size eight dress pants at the moment. They fit onto me three weeks ago, but they wouldn't secure around my waist.

What have I done to fit into them? Well, I haven't gone to the gym in a month, and I've been drinking regular Pepsi for about three weeks. Yeah, I don't even. *hands in air*

I agree with you about Idol. Lee did a fantastic job. Big Mike's performance was beautiful, too. And ofcourse, Casey and Crystal were awesome.

Don't know who's going home tonight.
