I would just like you all to know that Forbes has listed its yearly list of the fifteen richest fictional characters and number one is Carlisle Cullen.

Which is clearly bullshit, since you'd think with that much money he'd put a leash on Jasper, adopt Rosalie an infant, rent Edward a prostitute somewhere along the line, and buy Emmett those foam Hulk Smash fists you just know he wanted.

Oh, and in case you haven't seen the link yet, Cracked gives us the 10 Greatest Fictional Sports Ever Invented. Quidditch is #2, and I was completely shocked about that until I scrolled down to #1. Yeah, okay, I completely concur with that. ;)

Did I mention that I got friended on Facebook specifically so I could be invited to my 15-year high school reunion?

I'm trying to figure out whether I want to respond and go or whether I want to follow my natural instinct to avoid a bunch of people Facebook has taught me I share nothing in common with anymore, save my on/off high school boyfriend who's happily married with four kids the last I heard.

How could #1 be anything but CALVINBALL?

I couldn't believe I didn't even think about Calvinball until it turned up at #1. It was a bit of a headsmack sort of moment.

Didn't I say people would love his #1? \o/

Bobby's already mea culpa'd on his Twitter about something else: "It appears my biggest omission on the sports article is 43-Man Squamish. All apologies." (Link to explain; I didn't know what it was.)

If you don't want to go to the reunion: DON'T GO.

When my invite arrived in the mail I drove everyone nuts in the office until one of them marched over to the shredder and dropped the envelope in, and said "there! No you CAN'T go." and it was such a huge relief.

At that moment, I was officially Done with school.

I have stars in my eyes at your awesome response to that stupid list. STARS IN MY EYES.

Re: rich fictional characters. Clearly the staff of Forbes is d-u-m, dumb: Where are Prof. X and Lex Luthor? I don't get that list.

Sorry if I come off as a creepy luker here, but...I am a bit of a creepy lurker. Long story short, I read your blog sometimes because I like your fic, recs, and pop-culture commentary.

But I will risk de-lurking for a moment becasue of your reunion issue, which I faced about a year ago. My advice for you is to ask yourself one quesiton: Is there anything that I want from these people? Is their notice/validation of my life something that I'm looking for? Do I want to chat with them / look them over in greater detail than I can do over facebook? Do I miss high school events and wish to re-create that feeling?

Of course, If you're like me, the answer is: HELL NO, I was forced to see these people everyday for 13 years, and that is enough! If there's someone I want to chat with, I'll invite them out for lunch or drinks.

I go on...Anway, good luck with your decision :-)
