So, yeah, the clock.

It's night-time, right? Dark outside, "the morning's a long way away," and all that. Except when the clock changes from 11:59 to 12:00, it switches from AM to PM rather than the other way around.

This entire season is a series of "It's probably nothing, but ..." over and over again. :)

EDIT: Oh! And in "The Beast Below," when the voting booth is telling Amy her information, the computer voice states her age as 1306 years and the television screens say 1308 years.

It's probably nothing, BUT.

Either the continuity checker is asleep on the job, or they're doing something really, really intricate. As it's the BBC, I'm kinda inclined to believe it's the former, but man it would be awesome if it were the latter.

Bad Wol..No.

Just... I'm going to start writing down everything you say, you know? And making charts, and a graphy, and plotting out what IT ALL MEANS so that I can finally put all these things together in a single, unified deliberate plot!

Or, I could write it off as BBC being just a tad less clever than they look.

Aw, hell, it's not like I was really going to go to sleep...

the TARDIS clock does the same thing in 11th Hour. Someone did a complete run down on clocks in 11th Hour actually and there are a couple of "lost time" spots. I'll try and find the post on the doctor who LJ.

The machine lists her age as 1308 but the voice says 1306.

Maybe one counts her biological age and the other her historical age, which would make sense if she travels with the doctor for two years?

Hitchcock would play with time in his movies, show things that weren't actually possible. Even if the audience didn't work that out the first time they saw it, or ten times, or...ever, the brain picks up on it subconsciously. It's a cheap and easy way of creating conflict. [/the more you know]

I've heard that Stephen Moffat is a bit of a continuity nut, so I'm more inclined to think it's something :)

I'm so glad you're noticing these things, because I never do! Loving this season to pieces, though.

I keep wondering about the bit I had assumed was a dream. The part just before she wakes up in her bed, she's seven and waiting in the garden on her suitcase in daylight. I keep thinking that if they were going to stuff with time, two ways time went, alternate realities, time-lines or whatever, that would be significant.

Maybe he 'sorts her out' and the crack business, then is able to travel with her as a seven year old. I would love that.

Or it could just be a dream and a very pretty shot.
