Status of the writer

[apocalypsos]

I've been making deadlines for myself! And the good thing about it is that this time, I'm working up to making my personal deadlines by having fic deadlines I have to make, OR ELSE. Because right now, my deadline schedule looks like this:

May 8: apocalyptothon first draft due
May 15-16: apocalyptothon story/stories to be posted
June 1: Have my Big Bang completely edited.
June 1: Turn in edited copy of Heroine Addiction to agent-shaped person.
August 1: Turn in edited copy of The Grand Prize Winner to agent-shaped person.

I'm just really sick and tired of not getting these damn edits done. Heroine Addiction has been done for a few months, and The Grand Prize Winner has been sitting around waiting to be edited for, like, a YEAR. It's ridiculous that I don't have them done yet.

I also really need to plot This Way To The Egress and Cherry Bomb and dig up the outline for The Hollow Girl. I finished a draft in 2008, I finished a draft in 2009, I'm not getting out of 2010 without finishing a draft, damn it. HMPH.

Thank god the first draft is just due on the 8th - the ending totally just clicked for me and I just need to bang it out and send it to a beta reader. But there will be a first draft! *falls over*

(The clicking happened at like midnight - I woke up, sat up and went "That's what I'll do!" before falling back asleep.)
