May. 10th, 2010 10:55 pm-- If there's one thing the current kerfuffle is teaching me, it's whose hotel rooms I will never ever enter at a con. (Aside from the obvious, of course.) Way to creep me out, handful of people. Ew.
-- So next week I start a two-week training course at work in one of the major plans we take calls for. Or, technically, that other people takes calls for -- I'm in the returned mail department so we only take calls if it gets really really busy. This would not be so bad if it didn't start two and a half hours earlier than my regular shift. Wow, way to toy with my internal clock, people. (It shouldn't be so bad, really. Our trainer is incredibly laidback, training's always sort of casual, and my QC coach told me today that for this particular plan they mostly just want you to be compassionate and friendly, which I can totally handle.)
-- I've gotten maybe a quarter of my Big Bang edited just at work today. The goal is to get it done ASAP, of course, if only because I want it at the artist and a beta by Friday, but it's nice to know that even if I don't get much done when I come home from work, I'm getting nice-sized chunks done at work itself during breaks and lunch.
-- Speaking of things that need a beta, anybody willing to take a peek at my
apocalyptothon story for me? It's SPN.

agent_mimi and
lilacsigil, I should be sending out your chocolate by the end of the week. I haven't bought it yet, but the money should go into my account tonight and if so I'm going to try to hit the outlet store tomorrow before or after work. (And for anyone who still might be interested in sitting by the mailbox waiting for a big box of chocolate to arrive, chocolate chocolate OM NOM NOM.)
