For some reason, I decided to check out the TWoP recaps for Work of Art. DeAnn did the first three, and they're not bad. She actually makes good points and is genuinely funny. This is something I could get used to ...

... aaaaand then Jacob took over for last week's episode.

I have no idea what the hell I just looked at. It was an entire recap of snide nonsense, save for the bits where he made fun of Peregrine's name and physical appearance over and over and OVER again. And considering the show is pretty much snide nonsense all on its own, being even MORE snide and nonsensical takes some real fucking talent.

Supposedly it's going to be close to a hundred degrees today. Aw, man. Why do I have to work today? Why can't I just stay home and swelter in the comfort of my own home? Yuck.

I'm not sure what it says about me, but it brightens my existence that you have Jacob rage. I have no idea why I kept reading his recaps for so long (oh, yes, I do know: because he was recapping nearly every show I was interested in/thought the recaps for would be entertaining), and I'm still not over the complete confusion of thinking, over and over again, 'but they pay him for that. No, seriously, they pay him. Why do they pay him?'
