apocalypsos-- I am very disappointed that Carlos Aponte didn't get through, but I understand why not. He really wasn't up to the same level he was last time, and he didn't have a good excuse like Prince Poppycock. On the other hand, PRINCE POPPYCOCK WOOHOO! His makeup is fantastic. And Hannibal! Who's so HANNIBAL. He's like Brian Blessed's illegitimate singing child.
-- I was unsurprised that the third group were all going straight to Vegas, but WAS surprised that Future Funk and the French dancer were in it. I thought they'd have to do the audition thing again, but whatever, I like them both, it's cool.
-- I was terrified for a split second when they brought Gabourey's mom and Debra the blonde soft-singer up at the same time, but then I remember Gabourey's mom is AWESOME and there was no way in hell they'd send her home.
-- I'm surprised they sent Chips forward if only because that really was a comedy act as opposed to a magic act. That said, I giggled through the whole thing, so it worked as a comedy act for me. And the other guy, the blond magician? He was definitely the best but, sheesh, what a dickweed.
-- Taylor Matthews and Michael Grimm ... I'm thrilled for both of them and I'm glad they're staying. I hope they both get signed no matter how far they go.
-- Oh, jeez, we get to keep Doogie? WHY?!
-- Speaking of WHY?!?! ... scary singing makeup lady? Really?!
-- I want to throw a WHY?! Sally the hand-whistler's way, but ... well, she's a sweetie, and I sorta want to get her hand-whistling book just for the coming-out story.
