Oh, Oliver, you ginormous goober.
Jul. 13th, 2010 10:36 pmSome of the people in the YouTube comments were all, "Christian looks so offended by Olli going over the top!" or whatever, but honestly, if Christian hasn't figured out by now what an enormous soppy goober Olli can be, then he's clearly never met the man. (But basically ... *dolphin noises*)

So, yeah, this week's Leverage.
1. I want fic about Eliot came to be Eliot. I don't know ... you know that flashback to clean-cut footballer high-school Eliot taking home ec to meet girls? Please to be ignoring the fact that home ec is a requirement these days for everybody, mm'kay, because unsurprisingly macho guys taking home ec to meet chicks only to turn around and be GOOD at it -- it didn't occur to me until later that Eliot must have started learning how to cook as well as he did in "The Wedding Job" there -- is a GINORMOUS kink of mine. Who knew?
In any event, ever since I've been sort of fixated on high school football player Eliot, who's just an average high school football player until he joins the military and becomes a trained killer or whatever and becomes a lethal weapon. I need to either find or write fic about that yesterday.
2. You know why I love Parker and Hardison together? Because she's fucked up and she KNOWS that, and she even made a point of telling him as much last season (albeit in the roundabout way she goes about any and all personal stuff), and now we've got Hardison all, "The pretzels will be here for you when you're ready," and ... and YES. Of course they'll be there for her. The pretzels love her and want to kiss her and get all excited when she's not pretending to kiss ... wait, where was I?
Oh, right. Parker and Hardison need to make out more. Oh, yes. :D

I have to work eighteen hours straight tomorrow. Okay, well, I don't HAVE to, but there's overtime to be had and two jobs to be worked and more money to be put into my bank account, so here we are.
I'm already guessing that I'm not going to have a day off until the end of the month and it is not going to be pretty, let me tell you.
No - really?
Date: 2010-07-14 07:40 am (UTC)I know you have no time right noe to write Young Eliot, so I second someone writing some the day before yesterday....

Date: 2010-07-14 12:09 pm (UTC)I recently read an interesting (gen) backstory for Nate and Eliot, where Eliot had just gotten out of the military and was pretty fucked up. The first chapter is here:

2) I love how understanding Hardison is - he gets that she's interested, but also scared and confused, and he's handling her so carefully and patiently.
It's so rare for me to have a M/F OTP, and I also ship Hardison/Parker/Eliot, but Parker/Hardison warms my heart :)
