Would anybody be willing to look at the first five or so chapters of This Way To The Egress and tell me whether or not I should keep going?
The thing is, I really want to. I like the scenario I set up. I like the writing style I've got it in. But nobody else has read it yet, and I'm having a flash of paranoia that it might just suck, which isn't helping because I'm trying to decide whether or not to work on it tomorrow considering I'll finally have some time to myself to write that's not crammed into a half-hour lunch break.
So anybody up for the task? I'm not looking for a really in-depth analysis or anything, just a thumbs-up/thumbs-down sort of thing. Right now it's rough around the edges, but the basic set-up is pretty much there.
