-- I am either going to hate or love Ivy. I do love what we've seen of her work, though.

-- Speaking of people who could get really annoying really fast ... Casanova. Yeah.

-- Aw, A.J. You wee adorable thing.

-- At least Peach seems like a bit of a realist.

-- Wow, McKell's portfolio's really nice.

-- Oh, God, Kristin just used the "accidental designer" line Elisa used. *cringe*

-- Boxing? Ah. How nice of Jason to throw that into his video so we know he's straight. And did he just admit he put that hat on just 'cause?

-- "I almost wore the same thing." *snerk* I think I like Peach.

-- Is it just me or does Mondo seem like he's trying a bit too hard with his own personal style? Like he's cute and dorky and in fashion and therefore he needs weird hair and too dress a bit like a child molester. Or something.

-- I'll give the designers credit. What we're seeing of their designs is raising my expectations.

-- It feels nice to be at this early point in the show and to feel like I have a decent idea of almost everybody so far.

-- I should not be as interested as I am in the Austin And Santino Variety Hour. I love them both, but ... um. Hmm.

-- I've yet to see someone whose aesthetic I dislike.

-- Oh, my God, why did Casanova even TOUCH his D&G pants? Even for himself? A thousand bucks? Holy CRAP.

-- Jason is maybe starting to bug me a little.

-- Gretchen talks a good game. I really hope she doesn't suck.

-- They just showed a trailer for The Switch, but didn't bother to mention the really skeevy part of the plot. How smart of them. Too bad it didn't stop them from making the movie in the first place.

-- The outfits I liked: Andy, Peach, McKell, Gretchen, Nicholas, Ivy, A.J.. And oh, man, Nina's bitchface at Casanova's outfit. Bwahahaha.

-- Heh. I'm still pretty bad at picking the good ones. :)

-- YAY GRETCHEN. I didn't really think much of her when I saw her on the website but she seems very talented and sharp.

-- It's a good thing Jason is almost definitely going home tonight, 'cause he bugs. A lot.

-- Oh, Michael Kors's similes, I'VE MISSED YOU SO.

-- Wait, JASON stayed? ... okay, I guess I can kinda see it. *Kinda*.

-- Aw, McKell. She seemed sweet.

So, in summary -- it looks to me like this might actually be a good season. Here's hoping.

I feel so similar! Love almost all of them so far although Jason needs to go stat (I thought the same thing with the boxing/model stuff!). Nina's bitchface was the best thing ever and I adore Peach even if her style is a bit different than mine, she makes it work for me. Sad about McKell because I'm with Tim, her dress was cute if badly styled.

I swear, there's one of these guys every season, and I sort of love that the show always chooses to show the shot in their audition videos of the straight guys, like, playing football or bench-pressing something that kind of screams HERE IS A SHOT OF ME FLEXING MY MUSCLES SO YOU'LL KNOW I DICK WOMEN, as if there's no such thing as gay designers with muscles. (Hi, straight boys, Jack Mackenroth would like a word with you ...)

I really need an icon of Nina's bitchface. I can't believe I've gone so long without one.

I couldn't decide whether I wanted him to or not. On one hand, good heavens, that was a terrible dress. On the other hand, he seemed to realize he'd gone too far, and that language barrier was a terrible disadvantage during what I imagine was an already stressful five hours worth of work. And he didn't annoy me nearly as much as Jason I-needed-a-"thing"-so-I-put-on-this-hat-and-also-here's-a-shot-of-me-boxing-so-you-know-I'm-not-gay, whose dress really did look like he'd just put the kimono on the model backwards, and was stapled together to boot.

for real! i can't believe they kept him over mckell, whose dress WAS cute. that kimono business was just plain dumb, it looked so shapeless and derelicte.

I get the feeling Casanova didn't understand the import of what was going to happen to those pants. I think he got as far as "get a piece of clothing from your bag" and then the language broke down, or he'd NEVER have taken a pair of $1,000+ pants out of that bag to be chopped up.

I loved on McKell's dress, but agreed with Tim that the presentation was lacking... not enough reason to boot her out, compared to the some of the ones who stayed!

Yeah, by the end of the episode it sort of made a bit more sense why he'd pull thousand-dollar pants out of his luggage to be used in a challenge. I kinda feel sorry for the guy even with the awful dress, because to be on the show and to have your grasp of English be so tenuous you have to go so far as have Nina translate for you on the runway ... yikes.
