And I don't mean like "My Little Ponies attack Smurf Village" or "Dean learns to juggle" or whatever. I mean, like, genuine serious suggestions for fiction based on what you know I've written before and like to write.

I'm just getting really sick and tired of my brain refusing to generate a single new idea that wants to go anywhere. *sigh*

Thinking about your past work, I keep coming back to an advertising person hired by the government to "sell the apocalpyse" to the masses.

Government supported propaganda films were such a big deal on both sides in WWII that I actually had a class in college about them. The modern equivalent would probably be Madison Avenue type advertising campaigns.

What would convince somebody to take on that type of challenge in today's society?

sam is castiel's angel vessel, he raises dean from hell. dean is freaked because he's out of the pit, he can't find his brother, so the least he can do is find out who dragged him out, except when the ritual is cast, a floppy haired angel enters and tells dean his spiel with no recognition whatsoever...
