My basic response boils down to this:

If it were anybody but Michael C. saying, "They all threw me under the bus, so fuck them all," I'd cringe. As it stands, I cheered. And I had comic book flashbacks. I hope those little bastards created an adorable mildly-talent suppervillain with their behavior last week.

Also, FUCK YOU, IVY. I hope Michael C. IS trying to sabotage you. I hope he throws you under the bus. A literal bus. Hell, wouldn't be the first time someone on this show got hit by a bus. (Hi, Gia-the-model from season four! *waves*)

Also also, STFU GRETCHEN. Listen to her, all talking like she's the den mother and she's all illuminated and shit.

If you can get a verbal smackdown from Tim fucking Gunn and not realize you need to check yourself and your 'tude - I'm not sure if anyone can help you.

I'm watching Tim's take on the episode and he just called Gretchen quasi-psychotic. I LOLed ... HARD.

EDIT: Aaaand he just mentioned that I guess while they were filming tonight's episode Gretchen asked to talk to him privately, which of course ... hi, no, it's a TV show. But the talk never happened, and then SOMETHING HAPPENED (he doesn't say what, obvs.) during tonight's episode in regards to last week's shenanigans.

Which, ha, is pretty obvious by the promo and yet. Oh, Michael C., I hope you get metric fucktons of revenge.

It just popped up on Facebook about a half hour ago. It basically boiled down to:

-- He would have sent Gretchen home and thinks the judges have a soft spot for her even after that hideous display.
-- He's been gone for two weeks, can't say where, but Fashion Week is next week, HINT HINT.
-- He was sad to see Kristin go except ... okay, you know how they told the designers not to use the colors already in the hats for the Philip Treacy challenge? Well, when they were watching the couple of run-throughs of the runway shows that come before the judges get to see it, Treacy saw Kristin's dress and was like, "Aw, if that had more color from the hat, that might have been the winning dress," and Tim shot him the stinkeye and was like, "Uh, you TOLD them not to use the colors from the hats," and Treacy was like, "... oh." Heh.

Thank you for the summary! I wonder if that's the incident Tim referred to earlier, when he talked about needing to remind the judges of what the parameters of the challenge were. Or if there's still another incident coming up.

*delurks*

Where is Tim's take on the episode? I've been trying to find it everywhere, and I have no idea where it is.

See, like Tim, I kinda thought they figured Michael C. was safe from harm, so he was chosen as a target because there was no way they could actually get him tossed off the show... he couldn't actually *be* thrown under the bus! But in my darker moments, I wonder at the ferocity of their finger-pointing. Did some of them maybe think the judges would throw out Michael C.'s safety and toss him out of there because he was *just that awful*? If they knew he was safe, what was the use was pointing a finger at him in that nasty fashion? It was for nothing.

Maybe they just panicked and froze, like deer in the headlights. Gretchen started it, and they all loaded on in a blind panic. Dark underbelly time.

I feel like Gretchen was so fantastically smug about how great they all were that she figured that she could persuade even Heidi, Nina and Michael to rescind his damn immunity, because he was just that awful. I think that was why they started hitting him even harder when Georgina complimented the back of the top he made and he just sort of stood there and took it. He wasn't making himself out to looking like the blithering idiot they've built him up as, and as such they weren't going to pull off some reality show miracle and get somebody's immunity rescinded.

My current theory on what's going to happen tonight is that Michael is going find a weakness in one of the other designers -- probably Ivy, based on the preview -- and whip out some strength we didn't even know he had. My backup theory is that he's going to win again and REALLY fuck with their tiny little minds.
