The vast majority of people on the boards are on Mondo's side, but I saw one person who called his announcement "underwhelming" and I'm only barely restraining myself from responding, "Oh, I'm so sorry a man who's lived with a chronic and fatal disease for the past ten years without feeling he could tell his family due to his mother's insistence he keep his sexual orientation a secret isn't dramatic enough for you."

UGH. And I was already angry at people who were accusing him of planning to reveal this so he could win the challenge. Yes, that's exactly when I would reveal I have HIV and have been hiding it from my family for a decade - when I've been praised to high heaven for a design on Project Runway and I want that extra kick for the win.

Now, if we're open to talking about Valerie's "And Scarecrow, I'll miss you most of all!" speech being calculated ...

So Ryan Murphy's been going around giving interviews saying that Blaine is going to be Kurt's new boyfriend. This after spending so long saying that Kurt would date a popular hot football player and they would be the power couple of Lima High, AND after blatantly lying to fans last season when he hired Idina Menzel to play Rachel's bio-mom and being all, "What do you mean, we hired a Broadway actress with powerful pipes and Lea Michele's face in twenty years to play her bio-mom? That's just silly? Of COURSE she's not!"

Needless to say, I'm not sure I believe him. In which case, I kinda want to punch him in the face.

Look, I know he wants to keep plotlines secret and surprising, but ... hi, this isn't Lost. It's not going to make your intricate and important high-school-glee-club mythology collapse if we already know Sam and Kurt will hook up. It especially isn't going to make the show collapse considering how many people are actively rooting for the pairing.

And seriously, what the fuck is so exciting about a glee club gay kid/glee club gay kid relationship? If that really does happen, it's such a lazy pairing I'm not even sure *I'D* be into it, which is saying a LOT.

Also, and maybe I'm taking this a little too seriously, but considering how many kids have committed suicide lately due to anti-gay bullying, I feel like a "mixed marriage" sort of relationship -- with the expected gay glee club member with the unexpectedly hot gay football player -- would have much more of an impact than a glee boy/glee boy hookup, regardless of the whole Blaine's-high-school-is-more-accepting malarkey. (Not that I think being accepting is malarkey, but that making the high school more accepting just feels more blunt as a plot point to me.)

Ugh, is today over yet? Need the weekend, kinda just want to call both jobs and quit, hate my life, wish I had a working writer brain and a book contract and a pony. *pouts*
