apocalypsos-- I find it hilarious that when I say I've gotten a tarantula people are like, "OMG THEY'RE SO SCARY!!! D: D: D:" when inevitably what happens when I reach into the terrarium to put in a cricket or fill the water or whatever is that Toby immediately runs into her hidey-hole and doesn't come out until I leave. And when I say "leave," I mean the apartment.
-- So since I brought the new chinchilla home, they've been on opposite sides of the cage. Ramona would just sit in the wheel and chill, and Dexter would sit on top of the shiny new food dispenser, and neither the twain would meet. They haven't been fighting, though, which is understandable because Ramona's laidback and Dexter is a weenie. However, I just walked through the room and they were sitting next to each other in the middle of the cage, although they leaped apart when I walked in.
Okay, seriously, you two, it's okay if you're having a secret love affair. I'm actually trying to encourage that.
-- NaNo starts on November 1st, and I've got my idea, and now it's just a matter of fleshing it out. Which would be fine, except I've got another idea, and on the weekends when I'm supposed to be fleshing it out this month, I'm actually going to be working on the other idea. So, yeah, this should be fun.
-- Also, I need to register for my classes on November 1st. I really want to take three classes to start off, but I think I may stick to taking two just because it's my first time back after so long and I really don't think I need any more stress than the two jobs, starting college, and trying to get published.
