-- I've got to admit that I love Brooke for being enthused about anything they put in her path. A little TOO enthused, admittedly, but still.
-- Boy, it sounds like Michael and Kevin may be getting an loser's edit.
-- I kinda want to knock Brook for kissing every guy who helps her, but ... well, I kinda get the impression she does that even in real life, so ... whatever.
-- I imagine Connor and Jonathan are annoying other people who are watching, but whatever, I find them adorable sweethearts even when they're singing. I feel like they're chibis disguised as nerdy frat boys.
-- Oh, man, Team Grey's Anatomy is getting the bad taxi karma this week, apparently.
-- Good job, Gary! I was really impressed by how fast he breezed through the boxing challenge.
-- Yay! Connor and Jonathan are in first! I would love to see them win a leg.
-- Oh, God, I would so fail this quiz. Unfortunately, I'm terrible with African geography.
-- Okay, now THIS is my type of game. Puzzles are totally my thing.
-- Ouch. Forgetting a wheelbarrow is going to cut into their time ... aaaaand now Michael and Kevin are doing the same thing.
-- I hope Michael and Kevin don't get mad about Brook and Claire not telling them about the other wheelbarrow.
-- Ah, Nick is giving us yet another douchebag to hate. So pretty much, we're down to Team Glee, Team YouTube, and Gary as the only tolerable guys left on the Race. Good to know.
-- Mallory is being very sweet about asking Jesus for help (just like she's sweet about everything), but .. really? About this?
-- I think I maybe love that they're asking the teams a basic question = Point to where you are on a map.
-- It's always hilarious when teams can't find things like the decoder key that are right out in the open in a logical place.
-- That's okay, Nick. Everybody had a bit of trouble with finding Ghana. You're still the stupidest people on Earth, though.
-- Jeez, Nick is even making Chad look good, and that guy's a DICK.
By arrival:
Connor and Jonathan: YAY! A fantastic leg for the both of them, save for that map quiz. But at least they had a good attitude about it and were able to poke fun of themselves for it.
Gary and Mallory: A good leg for the both of them, with -- as even they said -- nothing having broken down. And good for them for coming from behind as well.
Chad and Stephanie: FREE STEPHANIE! Er, maybe. Actually, Chad did seem to be a bit better this week, and he was certainly less of a fuckstick than Nick is today. And Stephanie can be a little irritating as well, but a little irritating, especially in comparison to Chad.
Katie and Rachel: I'm still not getting incredibly dynamic personalities out of either of them, but they're bright and athletic and seem to be happy and know each other well, and yay for all-girl teams, so good for them.
Nick and Vicki: URGH. I give Nick credit for admitting he was in the wrong, but did he apologize? 'Cause I didn't hear it, and she deserved that.
Brook and Claire: Quite a slide downward on this leg, but still a decent team. And I'm guessing everybody is coming to the school to help remodel tomorrow? Maybe as part of the next challenge? That would be really great.
Jill and Thomas: Eh, whatever.
Nat and Kat: Oh, okay, they're going to do the school renovating during Pit Stop time. Great.
Kevin and Michael: I knew it was a non-elimination leg just because ... well, I've watched this show before. That said, yay for them not being eliminated, but oh, man, I'm not sure how much longer Michael is going to be able to hold up.
Next week: It's cold and Chad's a dick. Ew.
