I went to work and came home at the time I'm normally supposed to, and afterward I stopped at Wal-Mart with the $25 gift card I got from work today and picked up some snacky food and writing supplies. And now I'm at home and all warm and snuggly rather than at work, and I'm going to get Cigarettes And Shambles organized if it KILLS me.
I'm debating whether or not to do this all week long. On the one hand, it means giving up overtime for this week. On the other hand, I've done enough overtime over the past three weeks to pay my mom off, and I could use the mental break, AND I know I'm going to spend the entire week save Friday on the phones anyway. (Last year on Christmas Eve I was on the phones and literally got not a single call, because no one thinks a call center would be open on Christmas Eve.)
I really just want to get to the point where I'm actually enthused enough about it again to work on it on my breaks, rather than swilling tea and playing Angry Birds over and over again.
